What a race we had today! Kodiak cross country runners have been practicing hard to learn their paces to get the best time they can at their races. While it's still early in the season, some folks are getting really close to the goals that we have set, and the athletes have been thinking hard about what to do to make sure they are prepared to be the best they can be. Today we had a bunch of season bests! While Naomi and Sky both improved by a whopping 30 seconds, the real mind blowing performances came from Bella and Kimberly who both improved by about a minute and a half! Wow! As the coach I'm really proud and excited to see my athletes getting closer and closer to our goal paces and times! And I'm so grateful to Coach Kari and the parents who are supporting us with cheering, snacks, shade, split times and car pools!
